One of the building blocks used in Polartec® recycled polyester fabrics is CO2 gas, which is captured from steel mill emissions before it is released into the atmosphere. The captured carbon is recycled into polyester yarn and knit into Polartec fabric, helping to support a future economy where greenhouse gases are transformed into new garments. A shirt made with Polartec® Power Dry™ fabric containing recycled carbon polyester yarn, saves 2/3 or 66% of its own weight in CO2 vs. a virgin polyester t-shirt.*

The aerodynamic design is engineered to minimize drag: stitched rear panels offer a sleek, body-hugging fit, while the specially striped structured sleeves enhance vortex generation for improved airflow.
