Who are you, and what do you do? Tell us a bit about yourself.

I'm Amy, known as Amy Cycling Adventures on YouTube. I started cycling 3 years ago to help my mental health and soon fell in love with long distance riding. I've completed All Points North endurance race, Paris-Brest-Paris, came 2nd in the National 24hr TT and recently road 2000km in 8 days from Italy to the UK. I just love spending as much time as possible outdoors, challenging myself and find that I'm happiest on the bike.  I'm also an author, my book "Finding happiness pedal by pedal" has recently been published. Cycling has helped me more than I can put into words.

What is your favourite place to train, and what makes it special for you?

My local lanes in the Peak District, it's where I started cycling so will always be special for me. I love that it's hilly so I always have the opportunity to challenge myself, it's also peaceful and the views are beautiful, so I can look up and appreciate what's around me.

What is your favourite Santini item, and why?

My Vega arm and leg warmers, because I get cold really easily and these are so warming, perfect for winter!

What Santini piece or accessory do you consider essential for winter?

Shoe covers - my feet always get cold and they also protect your shoes from getting dirty on the winter roads. For days when it's not as cold I use the Ace shoe covers to keep my shoes clean.

What Santini piece or accessory do you consider essential for summer?

The gravel bib-shorts, because I spend long days in the saddle, even though I'm on road I use these shorts because they have pockets so it means I can have more snacks with me to eat on the go & not need to stop as much.
