How to take care of your Santini cycling and triathlon wear
Here are a few of the secrets that we've learned over the years to keep your kit performing at its best and last longer.
- Wash it at 30°C / 86°F
- Use the new Santini POWER CLEAN SPORT detergent, totally biodegradable and dermatologically tested
- Do not use fabric conditioner
- Avoid the tumble drier
- Avoid using washing powder, favor liquid detergent
- Turn the garment inside out
- Wash similar colours together
- Wash straight away
- Do not iron

Windproof light and stylish jacket
According to my first impressions, the quality of the jacket is very good. The wind resistance is excellent, I couldn't test it in heavy rain, but it was water resistant against lighter showers. The cut is good, though the front panel could be shorter. Size XL proved to be sufficient (192cm, 88kg). On sales this jacket is unbeatable deal.

Great jacket
When I compare Svolta jacket, which sits perfectly against Mercurio. Mercurio has a little more volume. Both are XXL. (180cm/90kg)

Stand Out Rain Jacket-Made In Italy
Santini must be listening,as I asked for an orange Vega Xtreme jacket,and a top-end
rainproof/breathable jacket,in a bright colour,as I don't do all black clothing.
A year later,there is an orange option in the Vega jacket(I got the last 4XL!),and an
orange Guard Mercurio rainproof jacket,too!
They both arrived on the same day,although I got the Vega jacket from my friend Dohnn at Cento Cycling,Portland,Oregon,USA.
The rainproof jacket was in a Santini sale,at an awesome price,but in a 3XL.
I gambled on it as I take a 4XL,in a slim-fit,and they only had a 3XL,yet they both fitted me!
Jacket is as expected,stand-out..made in Italy quality,great design flare,and which make's people jealous...who buy's cheap,bland,black/fluro yellow kit.
The jacket is amazing,and so light weight,too!
I will be getting the "Pro-Issue",TREK-Segafredo kit,next for the summer.
Once again,It is a big "Grazie" to Monica,for making amazing kit,with colour options!
