Here are a few of the secrets that we've learned over the years to keep your kit performing at its best and last longer.
- Wash it at 30°C / 86°F
- Use the new Santini POWER CLEAN SPORT detergent, totally biodegradable and dermatologically tested
- Do not use fabric conditioner
- Avoid the tumble drier
- Avoid using washing powder, favor liquid detergent
- Turn the garment inside out
- Wash similar colours together
- Wash straight away
- Do not iron

Perfect Jacket
Wore the jacket on my first rides of the season and I am delighted with it. It did a great job of protecting me from the strong late winter winds. I found I could go a little lighter with the base layers since the jacket does such a great job. I particularly like the zipper. It is large enough to be able to zip/unzip to control moisture/heat buildup even while wearing full finger gloves. I used the sizing guide for ordering and it fits perfectly. No more rustling sounds while speeding down hills. A very minor "con" is that the pocket tops fit tightly and its a bit difficult to get into the pocket while wearing full finger gloves. It probably won't be a problem with summer gloves. My riding partner complimented me on how great the jacket looks and from a safety perspective how it stands out. Shipping to North America was expensive but worth it. From time of order to delivery was three business days. Very happy with the jacket and Santini is now my "go to brand" for cycling apparel.
