The Tour de Suisse is strategically placed in the first half of June and is generally considered by cyclists to be a great prelude to the Tour de France and other events in the heart of the season. That is why interest in the Swiss race is growing and why the organisers have announced a new partnership for this year’s edition (which will run from June 9 to 17): Santini Cycling Wear will be the official partner and provide the jerseys for the race’s leading cyclists.

This road cycling stage race, which is in its 82nd edition this year, will see the winners wearing the prestigious jerseys made in Italy by Santini. Santini will also be providing the four official jerseys: the yellow jersey for the leader in the general classification, the black jersey for the leader in the points classification, the azure jersey for the best climber and one jersey for the Swiss rider with the best overall time.

“It’s a race with a long history which dates back to 1933, and which has seen some of the great names in cycling take part. That is why it is called’ the Fourth Tour’” – says Monica Santini, CEO at Santini Cycling Wear – and, like our company, it has a great love and passion for this sport in its DNA.”

In addition to the four official jerseys, Santini will also provide two special kits for two stages of the race and the jerseys for the TdS Challenge, which are open to amateurs and follow the race’s stages.

“It is a partnership of which we are very proud – says Olivier Senn, General Director of the Tour de Suisse – and which adds an important piece to the jigsaw of our tradition of having partners with international resonance.”

The jerseys that Santini is creating for the Tour de Suisse will be available online at our website and in selected shops all over the world from May 2018 onwards.
