The unique design is based around the use of the cobbled secteur through the Arenberg forest, included in this years stage. The geometric ‘cobble-stone’ pattern used in the design is created using a star motif, a nod to Paris-Roubaix, the while the dark tones used in the design reference the areas coal mining heritage.
