Who are you, and what do you do? Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am Alex Martinez, a racer at Reverb Cycling and a mechanic and Biomechanic at Reverb Mallorca. Cycling is a way of life for me, not just the results in the races, for me it is a culture, I love sharing my knowledge with people and being part of this movement that we live.

What is your favourite place to train, and what makes it special for you?

I love Mallorca, it is a paradise for outdoor sports, for its climate and especially for cycling, the island has been adapting to this sport and now it is a reference point in Europe for all brands. My favorite place on the island is Deia, a town in the Tramuntana. I love the route that takes you there.

What is your favourite Santini item, and why?

Without a doubt, the Gravel 800 kilometer shorts without chafing have made me fall in love with them.

What Santini piece or accessory do you consider essential for winter?

For me, an essential item of clothing is the GUARD NIMBUS jacket, I have used it all over the world this year during my trips to races, it is light, easy to store in a pocket and covers enough against the cold, rain and wind.

The STONE jersey is very comfortable for me on hot and humid days when it is difficult to put on any clothing to go out to train
