LIZZIE DEIGNAN JOINS SANTINI TEAM AS BRAND AMBASSADOR
2015 World Champion Lizzie Deignan lends her face and her experience to Santini Cycling Wear. The Team Boels-Dolmans athlete already wears Santini kit but will now also be a Santini ambassador as well. The new partnership will also produce the upcoming 2019 “Lizzie X Santini” collection.

At the 2015 World Road Championships in Richmond, Lizzie Deignan dominated a field of dozens of other competitors to ensure she wore the rainbow jersey for the following year. Now the celebrated cyclist joins the Santini Cycling Wear team as a brand ambassador. Deignan is familiar with both company and its products through both the UCI World Champion jersey she won in the US and also the kit Santini has been making at its Bergamo facility for the Boels-Dolmans team since last season.
The 2015 World title aside, the Englishwoman has also won the UCI Women's Road World Cup twice and is reigning Commonwealth Road Race champion. She will soon be one of the faces of Santini and will wear the Italian company’s range in her leisure time also.
“I have had first hand experience of testing the quality of Santini’s cycling wear racing with the Boels-Dolmans team, Lizzie explains. “I particular loved the fit and design crafted specifically for the female body. Its encounter with one of the strongest cyclists on the professional road race circuit will also yield the “Lizzie X Santini” collection for the 2019 season, a range of cycling wear and accessories created “for women by women” which melds the athlete’s personal experience and style with Santini’s design flair and technical expertise. The collection launches in autumn/winter 2018/2019.
